We all know that Christmas is the season of giving and sharing, it’s that special time of the year when we gather near the Christmas tree and open our gifts, but for many struggling families in Santa Ana, it can be a down and lonely time. This season can bring despair, isolation, depression and hopelessness to those struggling to survive in this lonely world. Last Sunday, on December 22, a ray of hope and comfort shined through the many volunteers who came to serve, give and show unconditional love to these families. The time, effort and work that you all gave to help make the 4th Annual O.F.T.H. Christmas celebration possible will forever have an impact on these families for generations to come.
A big thank you to the Paz family for making it possible for everyone to enjoy a delicious Mexican dinner from El Toro Restaurant, and for providing so many gifts and toys for the children and their families! A big thank you to Santa, the excitement and surprised look on the children’s faces were moments of joy that will forever shape and impact their souls. A big thank you to the O.C.Church of Christ for your continued generosity and support in providing toys for the children from the Annual Toy Drive! A big thank you to everyone who donated toys and gift cards, not only were the children impacted by your generosity, but the adults who received gift cards, were just as excited and grateful as well! A big thank you to the volunteers who helped wrapped toys for the children. Lastly, an enormous thank you to everyone who helped make this event possible! Please know that your support, generosity and hard work is valued and appreciated!! Thank you, thank you, thank you to everyone who came out and supported the event, your generosity, time and love not only gave a ray of hope and comfort to these families, but it fed their souls and spirits with love and joy!
